Feeling better starts by making one decision and showing up for yourself consistently, everyday.
I created this course for the old me. Every drop you see, read, and hear is personal.
I was confused, tired, and depressed. I knew there was a better way. I knew there was a party in life I was missing out on. Even my therapist didn't have the answers for me!
Back then I didn't have a formula to "feel better". My path back to healing started in a yoga class and I just kept sweating my ass off hoping things would change.
It did, for a while, but i craved MORE. I didn't want yoga to be another way for me to numb out (again).
I wanted the peace and joy to last AFTER the yoga class.
THEN I FOUND AYURVEDA
Ayurveda offers a whole health, mind, body, spirit approach. It might sound cliché, but that's because Ayurveda is the OG of health (it's more than 5000 years old!).
So yea, the practices are time tested and work! I've learned a lot (and I want to share!)
I continue to learn what I need as my life continues to evolve and change daily!
The idea of flexibility and self-care might be a foreign concept to you.
I'm here to make the journey simple, because the words I'm spitting are for the restless and weary.
We all deserve 10 minutes each morning (and evening) to say to ourselves:
"THANK YOU" "I LOVE YOU" "GREAT JOB TODAY"
The journey to health and healing are very personal. You decide what steps to take. But first you have to decide where to start!
Surrounding myself with a community who help me figure out the hard stuff has been critical to all of my past, current, and future wins in life. We are not supposed to do this alone!
With new information and support I am able to make big shifts in my life.

I know what you're thinking, there is just not enough time in the day
Have you thought about how much productivity you lose because you didn't make sleep a priority?
Using caffeine to push through the day doesn't make us more productive, it just makes feel like a walking zombie.
Cocktails make you forget about the loneliness (temporarily), but having one too many creates the can't focus/get-me-off-this-conference-call/please stop yelling at me, fuzzy-headache, kind of day. *ugh*
You may think you don't have time in the morning to meditate, journal, or indulge in an evening bath.

We weren't all dealt the same hand in life. Different groups of people are afforded more advantages and other groups have limitations, based off factors outside of our control.
One thing is certain, we all need to take care of ourselves so that when we are faced with adversity, we can move through it and process our emotions, without it effecting our physical health.
You'll come to learn that even the biggest storms can be approached with more ease and joy when you are rooted and feel secure within yourself.

I am a certified Ayurveda Health Counselor with over 5000 hours of formal education in health education and nutrition, and yoga.
My wellness journey started in my Health Behavior Change class at Appalachian State. I’ve always been intrigued by the reasons why people choose to reshape their lifestyle (or not).
Years later, I’m implementing my expertise through helping clients and students create lasting changes.
My teachings utilize a holistic approach that incorporates physical health, lifestyle, and spiritual practices. I've had the honor of embodying these practices over the past 8 years.
A band aid approach, that only addresses the symptom, is not sustainable. I help my clients address the root of their concerns.
Through my education and experience helping dozens of people I know what works. I know what the roadblocks will be and how to help you to overcome them.
I’ve had my own life-changing experience and my passion is to share this knowledge with you, to help you create your own healing journey.
